The severe weather disrupted power supply across the region, leaving residents and businesses without electricity for an extended period. Other areas of Arkansas were also severely impacted.
The restoration of power comes as a relief to many, as scorching temperatures continue to bear down on South Arkansas. The region has been grappling with intense heatwaves, prompting authorities to issue a heat advisory for Tuesday. From 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, residents are advised to take precautions and stay hydrated as the mercury soars.
As repairs and restoration work continue in Moro Bay, residents are encouraged to remain patient while the final stages of the recovery process are underway. The utility company is working tirelessly to resolve the situation and bring power back to all affected areas.
