Mary Jo Vargas Ayala, age 78 of Warren, AR passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren, AR. She was born on January 3, 1945 in Houston, TX to the late Crecencio B. Vargas and Mary Louise Gonzalez Vargas. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by siblings, Sophia Martinez, Louis Bernard Vargas, Crecencio B. Vargas, Jr.
Survivors include her sons, Abel J. (AJ) Ayala and spouse Charla of Warren, AR and Adam J. Ayala and spouse Auzanay of Wilmar, AR; brothers, Joseph Andrew Vargas, Michael Francis Vargas, James Anthony Vargas; sister, Gloria Ann Torres; grandchildren, Alexsavior (Alex) Ayala, Alliana Ayala, Kierston Ayala, Hailey Ayala, Phabion W. Ayala, Angel Ayala, Adan Ayala, Avant Ayala and Alijah Ayala.
A memorial service was held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. All arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
