WARREN, Ark. – In response to the ongoing dry conditions and extreme heat, Warren Fire Chief Chuck Moore has issued an important order that will take effect on Saturday morning. Starting tomorrow, burning within the city limits of Warren will be strictly prohibited until further notice.
The decision comes as a precautionary measure to mitigate the risk of fires within the city due to the adverse weather conditions currently plaguing the region. These conditions have made the area particularly susceptible to fires, prompting local authorities to take proactive steps to protect lives and property.
It is crucial to note that this burn ban solely applies to the City of Warren and does not extend to the remainder of Bradley County. Residents outside of Warren’s city limits should continue to exercise caution and adhere to any local regulations regarding open burning.
Warren city officials, in coordination with the Warren Fire Department and other relevant authorities, will continue to monitor weather conditions closely. They will notify the public promptly when the burn ban is lifted and it is safe to resume outdoor burning activities.
