Community gears up for a busy August with exciting school and football events

WARREN, Ark. – As the scorching summer sun beats down on Bradley County, news in Warren, Arkansas typically slows down. However, the upcoming 2023-2024 school year promises a flurry of activities, giving the community something to look forward to after the June Tomato Festival.

August 10 at 6PM – Lumberjack Football Meet and Greet Dessert Auction Kicking off the festivities, the Lumberjack Football team will be hosting a Meet and Greet Dessert Auction on August 10 at 6 PM. August 21 – First Day of School With summer vacation coming to an end, students and educators are gearing up for the first day of school on August 21. August 25 at 7PM – Lumberjack Football First Game of the Year vs. Stuttgart The wait is finally over for football enthusiasts as the Lumberjack Football team takes the field for their first game of the year against Stuttgart on August 25 at 7 PM. Fans will pack Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium once again, cheering on their team as they aim for a victorious start to the season.

September 1 at 7PM – Lumberjack Football at White Hall As September approaches, the Lumberjack Football team will hit the road to face White Hall on September 1 at 7 PM. This away game will be an exciting opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and make their mark in the league.

September 1 – Hermitage 8-Man Football vs. Cutter Morning Star Meanwhile, over at Hermitage, football fans will be treated to an 8-Man Football showdown between Hermitage and Cutter Morning Star on September 1. The game promises to be an action-packed battle between these two competitive teams.
