Holly Echoff Threlkeld, age 79 of Warren, AR passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at home. She was born on January 23, 1944, in San Franciso, CA, to the late John B. Echoff and Helen Hayden Echoff.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Threlkeld, whom she married on April 12, 1969, who passed away on September 19, 2020; brother, David Kelley; sister, Ruby Landis, niece, Heidi Bonds, and special canine companion, Jay-Jay.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Courtney of Warren, AR; daughters, Janette Stafford and spouse Donald of Crossett, AR, Rebekah Oliver and spouse Tim of Crossett, AR, Tonya Vick and spouse Marvin of Panama, OK, and Paula McDougald and spouse Paul of Greenbrier, AR; brother, James B. Echoff of Sacramento, CA; sister, Carol Echoff of Richlands, NC; grandchildren, Jeremy Courtney, Jacob Courtney, Joshua Buie, Nathan Oliver, Alex Oliver, William Vick, Jacob Vick, Julia McDougald, and Grant McDougald; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her two fur babies, Bobbie Sue the cat and Lucia the dog.
Holly had many years of memories with caring for and loving the many children who blessed her as honorary grandchildren. Her very special dogs included Sissy, Jay-Jay, and Lucia, who were like additional children in her family. She enjoyed collecting recipes, reading voraciously, and spending time with her loved ones.
Graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Oakland Cemetery with Bro. Donald Stafford officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossett Canine Rescue, 435 Binns Loop, Crossett, AR 71635.
