William Lawrence Wilkinson was born October 4, 1947 in a tent, in the logging woods in Drew County, AR. He was the son of William Dean Wilkinson, Jr. and Evelyn Lloyd Wilkinson.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Rose Goza.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Teresa Caldwell Wilkinson whom he married on July 8, 1966. He is also survived by his sons, David Wilkinson and wife Lisa and Shannon Wilkinson and wife Patricia. He has three grandchildren, Slade Wilkinson, Murphie Wilkinson and Britny Duncan. He has two great-grandsons, Landon Duncan and Cash Duncan.
Lawrence was a hard worker and an avid coon hunter for many years. In his later years he loved camping and fishing. Thank you so much to his family and friends who helped him so much when he needed it. Also, thanks to Chapel Woods for taking care of him during his long battle with cancer. God bless you all. Lawrence passed away on August 2, 2023.
Memorial service was 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
