It’s Time For Revival

Friends, we need a revival in this hour. When I speak of revival, I’m not talking about a series of meetings or services. I’m speaking of a spiritual awakening inside the church. Someone told me the other day, “You sound a little old fashioned.” I admit it, I am. Coca Cola does taste better in a little green glass bottle than it does in a plastic bottle or aluminum can.

What’s keeping revival out of the church? Sin. What is sin? “Therefore, him that knows to do a good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17)

What will it take to have a revival in this hour? “Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgement in the gate.” (Amos 5:15)

It’s time to get into the Bible, the Word of God and let the Bible get into us. It’s time for God’s people to become sin haters. God’s Word and standard has not changed. It’s time to take God’s Word and draw a line and stand up for what is right. Revival in this hour is not a luxury, but a necessity. I owe my spiritual life to revival. Perhaps you do too. Let’s ask God, together, to “revive us again.” (Psalm 85:6)

First Assembly of God invites you to Revival services September 15, 16, 17 with Evangelist Joe Tolbert. Friday and Saturday services start at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
