New rules have been adopted for the Cedar Street properties recently acquired by Bradley County.
A committee was established to formulate the usage rules. Bradley County Quorum Court adopted an ordinance at its Sept. 18 meeting to put the rules into effect immediately by including an emergency clause.

The rules are as follows:
- It shall be the responsibility of the county judge or his designee to permit mobile vendors to do business on county property.
- Mobile vendor operators shall obtain the following prior to conducting business in the city: a valid privilege city license; a valid liability insurance policy; a current health inspection; a valid driver’s license; a current inspection by an incorporated Arkansas municipality; proof of sales taxes paid; the food truck applicant shall ensure compliance with all city and state health regulations for mobile food vendors; the vendor must comply with all federal, state and local codes or laws.
- Vendors must fill out an application picked up in the county judge’s office. Fee is set at $50 per day per food vendor. Money will be paid and collected at the collector’s office. Two days constitutes maximum stay. All mobile food truck operators shall remove all trash at their expense. No operator of a mobile vehicle is granted or entitled to the exclusive use of the service location. Hours of operation will be 6 a.m.-midnight per day.
- The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to local government, special events and/or other sanctioned events on county property.
