WARREN, Ark. – The spirit of community, service, and faith is set to shine brightly on October 7th, 2023, as the Arkansas Baptist State Convention hosts the Acts 1:8 Missions Experience across various locations in Southeast Arkansas. This day promises a remarkable one-day mission trip, uniting approximately 1200 Arkansas Baptists to serve their communities in profound ways.

Warren, Arkansas, will be a focal point for this incredible event. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store:
Block Parties: Join the festivities at Immanuel Baptist Church, Westside Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, and Southside Baptist for an exciting day filled with games, music, and camaraderie.
Food Distribution: At First Baptist Church and Grace Cowboy Church, volunteers will ensure that no one goes hungry, distributing essential food items to those in need.
Children’s Activities: Kids can revel in a day of fun at 512 Bond St in Warren and 314 Sycamore St in Banks, with engaging activities that will bring smiles to their faces.
No Sale Yard Sale: Browse unique finds and treasures at Macedonia Baptist Church, Grace Cowboy Church, and First Baptist Church. Who knows, you might discover something special.
Sports Galore: Sports enthusiasts can get their fill at the Warren Warren Complex, with a Baseball and Softball Camp, and at Axley Field on Seminary Street, where multiple sports activities await.
Community Care Services: Hope Place Pregnancy Care Center at 212 W Central St in Warren will offer essential services like Diapers & Wipes, Haircuts, and Showers to those who need them most.
The entire event is scheduled to run from 10am to 3pm, ensuring a day packed with activities and opportunities to connect with the community.
Monticello’s Medical-Dental Clinic: Meanwhile, First Baptist Church of Monticello will host a Medical-Dental Clinic from 8am to 3pm. This clinic will provide dental extractions, dental cleaning, and the expertise of an on-site physician, ensuring that vital healthcare needs are met.
This inspiring event is made possible through the joint efforts of the Arkansas Baptist Convention and various local participating churches.
