Robert Broughton was born on March 7, 1968 to Billy Joe Warner and Ceola Broughton-Warner in New Edinburg, AR. He departed his life on October 4, 2023 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. He was also preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Warner; two brothers, Billy G. Warner and James H. Warner and his ex-wife, Sandra K. Clifton.
Early in his life he joined Piney Grove A.M.E. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Fannie C. Mitchell. He accepted Christ at an early age. Robert was educated at the New Edinburg and Kingsland public schools.
He was a logger for D.H. Forrest Logging Inc. for numerous of years before he became disabled. However, he still remained a cheerful, fun-loving person with his family and others.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving mother, Minister Ceola Warner of New Edinburg, AR; four sisters, Bonnie (Ronnie) Junior, Betty Warner of Monticello, AR, Joyce Broughton, Jackie Broughton and Gertie Warner-Washington all of Warren, AR; five nieces; five nephews; three great-nieces; two great-nephews and special friends/caregivers, Miss Carolyn “Michell” Youngquist and Miss Erica Hampton.
Funeral service was 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Frazer’s Funeral Home.
