Bennie Jean Nelson, age 84 of Warren passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren, AR. She was born on February 25, 1939 in Vick, AR to the late Howell “Bubba” Hoyle and Lula Mae Hargis Hoyle. She was a seamstress, housewife and homemaker, and worked at Jack Winter in Warren, AR.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Bruce Edward Nelson and her step-father, James Harvey “Doc” Quimby.
Survivors include a son, Michael Edward Nelson of Bradley County, AR; daughters, Kim Thomas and spouse Phillip of Heflin, LA, Mary Grace Martin and spouse Mike of Rogers, AR and Laura Jean Hays and spouse Danny of Texarkana, AR; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 2:00PM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Union Hill Cemetery with Bro. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
