“Live with the Red Wolves” Camellia Bowl edition set for December 11

JONESBORO, Ark. (12/6/23) – A special bowl-game edition of the “Live with the Red Wolves†radio program, presented by Greenway Equipment, will be conducted Monday, Dec. 11, at Lost Pizza Co. in Jonesboro and air live from 7-8 p.m. on originating station KFIN 107.9 FM.

A-State’s football team is set to play in the 2023 Camellia Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 23, at 11:00 a.m. (CT).  Making its first bowl-game appearance since 2019, the Red Wolves will face Mid-American Conference (MAC) member Northern Illinois at Cramton Bowl stadium in Montgomery, Ala.

In addition to KFIN, the show will air on many of the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network affiliates.  It will also be available on the official A-State Athletics App, which can be downloaded by going to your phone or tablet’s app store and searching for “A-State Athletics.â€

Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to hear from head coach Butch Jones and the Red Wolves while enjoying the great food and atmosphere provided at Lost Pizza Co., located at 906 Southwest Drive.  Audience members will have a chance to win door prizes from Textbook Brokers.

A-State play-by-play commentator Matt Stolz, “The Voice of the Red Wolves,†will host the program.  Completing the regular season with a 6-6 overall record, Arkansas State is one of just seven FBS teams in the country that won three or fewer games last year and will play in a bowl game this year.

This year’s A-State vs. Northern Illinois matchup will mark the 10th edition of the Camellia Bowl.  Tickets are currently on sale online and can be purchased by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/BowlCentral.  Additional information regarding tickets and premium areas may be obtained by e-mailing redwolvesfoundation@astate.edu or by contacting the Arkansas State Athletics Department at 870-972-2401.
