DUMAS, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjack Women’s basketball team faced a tough outing in their final game of the Dumas Holiday Classic on Saturday, December 16, 2023, as they fell to McGehee 74-17.

From the opening tip-off, McGehee seized control of the game, establishing an early advantage that proved insurmountable for the Warren squad. Despite the challenging circumstances, Charlee Wardlaw emerged as a bright spot for the Lumberjacks in the first quarter, sinking three two-pointers.

As the game progressed, Aaliyah Walton made significant contributions in the 2nd quarter with a couple of successful shots. However, the relentless performance from McGehee kept Warren at bay.

In the end, McGehee secured a convincing victory with a final score of 74-17.

The defeat drops Warren’s Women to a 0-3 record for the season, marking a challenging start. The team now faces a brief hiatus, with their next game scheduled for January 2, 2024, where they will hit the road to take on Monticello.
