Bertha Lee Ferguson, 85, of Harrell, passed away, January 18, 2024. Born November 15, 1938, to Jimmy Cross and Eula Lee Sumler.
Bertha accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and served Christ faithfully with joy as she united with First Baptist Church in Harrell, AR. She worked hard on various jobs to provide for her family and instilled
the same values in her children. She loved the community of Harrell, gardening, sitting on her back porch enjoying her flowers and the company of whomever stopped by to visit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Curtis Childs, Brenda Moore, Linda Cox; and great granddaughter, Miyah Ferguson.
Bertha is survived by her children, Barbara Tatum, Debra Davis, James Ferguson, Rosie Stankawicz, Sondra Ferguson, Tony Ferguson, Feleicia Walton (Fredrick); siblings, Flossie Tatum, Eula Mae Childs,
Eloise Jones (Robert), Kenneth Golden; grandchildren, Juan Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Kenya Ferguson, Brittany Neal, Beatrice Ferguson, Janard McCree, Brianna Miles, Essence McCree, Alicia McCree,
Shantrice McCree; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was January 27 at First Baptist Church in Harrell. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
