James Wilson Edwards, age 88, of Warren, AR passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at home. He was born on September 5, 1935 in Rye, AR to the late Garfield Edwards and Oma Curry Edwards. He was a member of Centennial Fellowship in Pine Bluff, AR. He served his country in the United States Navy.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Joe Edwards and Leslie Edwards and sisters, Wilma Jean Bagwell and Jewel Adams.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Jean Pearce Edwards of Warren, AR whom he married on March 20, 1959; sons, Dennis Edwards of Little Rock, AR and Tom J. Edwards of Tulsa, OK; brother, Billy Mack Edwards and spouse Bell of Hermitage, AR; grandchild, Madison Murchison and spouse Black and great-grandchild, Emmerson.
The family wishes to express their thanks to everyone who helped care for James especially Janice Clark and Ms. Ethel.
