STAR CITY, Ark. – In the first of important road games this week, the Warren Lumberjacks got the job done agains the Star City Bulldogs Tuesday night, February 6, winning by the final of 69-64 to move to 8-3 in the 8-4A Conference.

1st Quarter
The game began with Star City seizing an early 4-0 lead, but Warren’s Antonio Jordan quickly responded, notching the Lumberjacks’ first points of the night from the free-throw line. Despite early shooting struggles, Warren stayed within striking distance as Jordan’s tenacity inside and ability to draw fouls helped them stay close. The quarter ended with Star City holding a narrow 16-15 lead.
2nd Quarter
Warren found their rhythm in the second quarter, led by the hot hand of Tramond Miller, who erupted for eight points. David Jordan also made his presence felt with a crucial three-pointer, while Antonio Jordan found success scoring from the field. By halftime, the Lumberjacks had turned the tide, securing a 35-28 lead.
3rd Quarter
Miller continued his scoring barrage at the onset of the third quarter, extending Warren’s lead to 40-28. However, a brief offensive lull allowed Star City to claw their way back into the game, cutting the deficit to 56-50 heading into the final quarter.
4th Quarter
With the game hanging in the balance, Antonio Jordan showcased his dominance inside, bolstering Warren’s lead. A pivotal layup from Miller, off an assist from David Jordan, gave the Lumberjacks some breathing room. Then, a perfectly executed end-to-end inbounds play with under 20 seconds left, following a timeout, sealed the victory for Warren, as Miller converted a wide-open layup to secure the win.
