Warren Basketball’s regular season finale bumped up to Thursday night

WARREN, Ark. – The anticipated clash between Warren’s Lumberjack and Lady Jack basketball teams against Little Rock-Mills has been rescheduled for tonight, Thursday, February 15.

Originally slated for Friday, the games against Little Rock-Mills will now take place a day earlier, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown at Lumberjack Arena.

The tip-off for the Lady Jacks’ game against Mills remains unchanged at 5:30 p.m., with the Lumberjacks’ game to follow immediately after the conclusion of the women’s matchup.

The Lady Jacks are poised to face the 8-4A Conference leaders, Mills Lady Comets, in what will be Warren’s final game of the 2024 season.

Meanwhile, the Lumberjack men’s team finds themselves in third place in Conference 8-4A and are set to clash with the league leaders, Mills. Seeking redemption after a tough road loss to Mills earlier in the season, the Lumberjacks are determined to turn the tables and emerge victorious in front of their home crowd.

Currently riding a wave of momentum, the Jacks have already secured a spot in the 4A South Regional Tournament.

Adding to the excitement, Thursday’s matchup has been designated as Lumberjack Fan Appreciation Night. In a gesture of gratitude to their loyal supporters, admission for all fans will be just $2, offering an affordable opportunity for the community to come together and rally behind the orange and black.
