The Orange and Black started the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first, including an Ervin Rivera run-scoring single through the right side. The scoring continued in the next frame for Warren with four runs, three of which came on back-to-back-to-back RBI singles by Nathan Spears, Bryson Harris, and Rivera.

The Owls plated their lone run of the contest on a wild pitch in the top of the third to put the score at 6-1. The visitors kept the Jacks off the scoreboard in the third, but Warren exploded for 9 runs in the bottom of the fourth, powered by six hits, to take a 15-1 advantage. Wolfe relieved starting pitcher Ren Reep who earned the win for the Orange and Black. Reep tossed four innings and allowed one run on three hits with seven strikeouts against four walks. Reep allowed two hits in the top of the first, but only one in the next three frames.
