WARREN, Ark. — The Warren Lumberjack Basketball program is celebrating the stellar performances of two of its standout athletes, Antonio “AJ” Jordan and Tramond Miller, who have both received multiple post-season honors, according to announcements made by the Warren Athletic Department.
Jordan, a force to be reckoned with on the court, has garnered an impressive array of accolades, including being named to the 4A All State Team, the 4A All State Tournament Team, and the 8-4A 1st Team All Conference. Additionally, he secured a spot on the 4A South All Regional Team. Jordan’s statistics speak volumes about his contribution to the team’s success this season. With a season points total of 480 and an average of 22.85 points-per-game, Jordan demonstrated his importance to the team time and again. Notably, he posted a double-double in four out of Warren’s five post-season games, with four games over the course of the 2023/24 season boasting 30-plus points. His standout performance came in Warren’s 4A State Playoff 1st round win over Subiaco Academy, where he notched a personal and team season-high of 33 points.
Meanwhile, Miller’s exceptional talent has earned him recognition as well. He was named to the 8-4A 1st Team All Conference and the 4A South All Regional Team. Miller’s season points total of 430 over 21 games, with an average of 20.47 points-per-game, underscores his significant contribution to the Lumberjacks’ success. Additionally, he showcased his proficiency from beyond the arc by hitting 35 three-pointers throughout the season, with four games featuring 30-plus points.
Reflecting on the achievements of his players, Warren Lumberjacks’ Head Coach Correy Muldrew expressed his pride in their accomplishments. “AJ and Tramond are basketball players,” said Coach Muldrew. “Their individual play was instrumental in our team success.”
Muldrew emphasized the dedication and hard work that Jordan and Miller consistently put into their game. “They play ball almost year round,” he noted. “When I introduced new concepts, they were able to catch on and implement them fairly quickly.”
In addition to their individual talents, Coach Muldrew highlighted the invaluable role Jordan and Miller played as teammates. “They are great teammates,” he remarked. “They pushed each other during games and practice.”
Looking ahead, Coach Muldrew sees Jordan and Miller as pivotal figures in the team’s future. “They should have a huge leadership role going forward,” he predicted. Jordan and Miller will each be entering their senior year in the fall of 2024.
As a team, the Warren Lumberjacks concluded the season with an impressive overall record of 14-7, culminating in an elite eight finish at the quarterfinal stage of the 4A State Tournament. With Jordan and Miller leading the charge, the future looks bright for the Warren Lumberjacks basketball program.
