Lady Jacks drop match to 6A Conway

WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jacks soccer squad played host to Conway Tuesday evening in a non-conference matchup at Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium with Warren falling to the Lady Wampus Cats by a score of 8-0.

While the outcome was not as desired, the Lady Jacks displayed resilience and sportsmanship throughout the game against their foe from the 6A Central, the highest classification in the state. The players demonstrated great effort and dedication, showcasing their commitment to the sport and their team. The win moves Conway to 5-1 on the year, while the Orange and Black are 1-3.

Despite the loss, Warren remains optimistic and motivated for the rest of the season. Non-conference matches against teams from higher classifications such as Conway will help prepare the team for its 4A East conference slate.

The Lady Jacks are scheduled to begin conference play on Thursday, March 14 against Crossett. The match will begin at 5 p.m. at Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium.
