Ruby Thomason Nichols, age 87, of Warren, AR passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren, AR. She was born on December 11, 1936 in Lake Village, AR to the late David Trout and Tiny Pauline Reynolds Trout. She worked for Jack Winter, then LaDonna Sportswear and later she was a CNA for in home health care. Ruby was of the Baptist faith.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Thomason and Henry Clay Nichols; brothers, James Trout, Billy Trout, George Trout, Millard Trout, David Trout and William Trout and sisters, Helen Groves, Annie Trout, Lorene Hodges, Charlotte Hodges and Mary Williams.
Survivors include her sons, Ralph Thomason, Jr; “Buck” and spouse Cathy of Warren, AR and Pat Thomason of Warren, AR; daughter LaTresia Whitlock and spouse Bobby of Warren, AR; brothers, Claude Trout of Guthrie, OK and J.C. Trout of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Wanda Oltemari of Malvern, AR; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
