LITTLE ROCK – Warren High School’s Army JROTC, known as the Lumberjack Battalion, showcased their skills and determination at the recent Little Rock Catholic Marine Corps JROTC Raider competition held on Saturday, April 20th. The event, featuring intense challenges across multiple categories, saw Warren High School’s team emerge victorious with impressive performances.
Competing in three categories, the Lumberjack Battalion demonstrated their commitment, earning recognition in each category and bringing home notable achievements.
The all-male team consisting of Cody Weatherspoon, Luis Woods, Emanuel Strong, Nickolas Dickens, Aaron Woodard, and Ashton Ozment secured third place in the Physical Fitness competition, highlighting their dedication to physical excellence and stamina.
In the same category, the all-female team comprising Aaliyah Ross, Alliana Ayala, Isabell Davis, Faith Strong, Julisa Jaimes, and Anna Gomez showcased their strength and fitness prowess, earning a commendable second place.
Further adding to their accomplishments, the all-female team of Alliana Ayala, Mia Johnson, Isabell Davis, and Julisa Jaimes secured the first-place trophy in the Color Guard Competition, showcasing their precision, discipline, and teamwork.
The competition also saw participation from other school districts including Watson Chapel, North Little Rock, and the host school, Little Rock Catholic.
