The Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival committee is excited to announce a new event for the 68th Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival.
Arkansas Pie Festival’s “Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival Pie Contest” is a new addition to the 2024 Festival schedule of events. The inaugural pie contest will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at the First Methodist Church located at 111 West Church Street in downtown Warren.
Competitors will download a form from the festival website and bring it with them or may be filled out onsite. Entries will be taken between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Judging will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the winners will be announced at the All Tomato Luncheon that day at 12:30 p.m.
There will be 2 categories; pies with tomato and pies without tomato. For the first year, there will be no entry fee and a single pie and completed entry form is all that is needed to enter.
Pies will be judged based on crust, filling, appearance and overall impression. The judges will determine a winner in each division and an overall winner will be chosen and will be invited to compete in the Arkansas Pie Festival competition in Cherokee Village on April 25th, 2025.
