SEACBEC and Warren High School partner for educational downtown student tour

In a recent announcement made via social media on Monday, SEACBEC (Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center) revealed its collaboration with Warren High School for an enriching educational experience. The initiative involved taking the WHS Class of 2024 on a comprehensive “Downtown Tour” aimed at imparting valuable life skills and knowledge.

During the tour, students had the opportunity to delve into crucial topics such as financial responsibility, gaining insights into the inner workings of their city and county, and understanding the foundations of becoming successful and contributing adults in their community post-graduation.

Students visited and toured the Bradley County Courthouse, including the Sheriff’s Office, the County Clerk’s Office, and the Courtroom. They also visited various local businesses and the Warren Municipal Building. By exposing students to various aspects of community life, the “Downtown Tour” fostered a deeper understanding of civic engagement and personal responsibility.
