Joy Ross, age 79 of the Woodlawn Community passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at The Greenhouse Cottages in Rison, AR. She was born on April 1, 1945 in Hermitage, AR to the late Erman Carroll Kinard and Rachel Leona Booker Kinard. She was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Ross whom she married on April 3, 1965 and he passed away on October 15, 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Stover and spouse Jerry Don of Woodlawn, AR; brother, Carroll Kinard and spouse Betty of Crossett, AR; grandchildren, Amanda Henley and spouse Matt and Alec Stover and great-grandchildren, Kentley Henley and Zeke Henley.
Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial was in Rowell Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Rowell Cemetery.
