John David Norris III, age 62, of Warren, AR passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in North Litte Rock, AR after battling a lengthy illness. Mr. Norris was born April 24, 1962 in Angleton, TX to the late John David (JD) Norris, Jr. and Shirley Ann Wright Norris.
John was a bricklayer for many years alongside his father until his father’s passing. He then worked as a mechanic for Cathey’s Wrecker Service until 2015. He enjoyed doing odd jobs, deer hunting, and was always full of jokes and laughter. John loved his family and friends. If they ever needed anything at any time, he was the person that would show up in the blink of an eye.
Other than his father he is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Kay Osgood, brother-in-law Larry Osgood, brother Marvin Joe Norris, and father-in-law Stanley Skelton.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years Cynthia Cady Norris; his daughter Tiffany Norris Hines of Maumelle, AR; 2 sons John (Nicholas) Norris and Wife Sarena of Bryant, AR and Jeremy Norris, Sr. and wife Becka of Jonesboro, AR; his mother Shirley Norris of Warren, AR; 2 sisters Bridget parks of Warren, AR and Vanda Boyd and husband Chris Tolbert of Heber Springs, AR; 5 grandchildren Chandler Byrd, LaDainian Carroll, and Khloe Hines all of Maumelle, AR; Alex Norris and Jeremy (JJ) Norris, Jr. of Jonesboro, AR; mother-in-law Helen Skelton of Sikeston, MO; sister-in-law Lachrista Bryan of Sikeston, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
