WARREN, Ark. – Warren High School’s talented golfer, Landon Milton, has announced his decision to further his athletic and academic career at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Milton, a key player for the Lumberjack Golf program, shared the exciting news on Wednesday.
“After a great meeting today with Coach Hamilton, I am very proud to announce that I will be continuing my golf career at the University of Arkansas at Monticello,” Milton said. “I thank my family, friends, and most importantly God for this special opportunity. It has always been my dream to play college golf and with the support of all my loved ones, my dream is finally coming true. Go Boll Weevils!”
Milton’s tenure with the Lumberjack Golf team has been marked by significant achievements. He played an instrumental role in helping the team to secure the 8-4A District Championship for the second consecutive year in 2023. His contributions on the course have been a cornerstone of the team’s success, earning him recognition as one of the top golfers in the district.
In addition to his work on the links, Milton has excelled academically. He graduated as a Salutatorian of the WHS Class of 2024.
