JONESBORO, Ark. – The variety of ways to experience Arkansas State football tailgating on Red Wolves game days continues to grow with the addition of an Alpha Pack event for all six home games in 2024, complimenting Dustin White Realty Tailgate City at Mike Watson Park and free tailgating options surrounding Centennial Bank Stadium.
Tailgate City – the premier tailgating area located just west of the stadium – will not only once again feature REVELxp amenities, the Hijinx Kids Zone, gaming areas, food vendors and Red Wolf Walk, but a “Countdown to Kickoff” remote broadcast with Brandon Baxter and Kelly Perry of 107.9 KFIN has also been added. Hosts of the popular “Arkansas’ Morning Show with Brandon and Kelly,” the duo will conduct live interviews and provide giveaways for the two hours leading up to the EAB Red Wolves Sports Radio Network pregame show, which begins two hours prior to kickoff.
Fans can enjoy all the festivities while taking part in Red Wolf Walk, where the team will travel through the heart of Tailgate City with the A-State spirit squads on its way into the stadium two hours and 15 minutes before game time. The Textbook Brokers Team Shop will open three hours before kickoff, and is located at Centennial Bank Stadium’s main gates – just a short walk from Tailgate City.
REVELxp provides enhanced, full-service tailgating options inside Tailgate City for fans on game days. A-State’s partnership with REVELxp not only supplies fans with turnkey tailgating options, but also allows the Athletics Department to allocate staff to other areas of need, including parking and overall game day enhancements.
Fans can learn more about REVELxp tailgate-plot locations, pricing and services inside Tailgate City by visiting Revelxp.com/ArkansasState, calling 334-447-9576 or e-mailing [email protected]. Answers to some of the most common tailgating questions at A-State may also be viewed by clicking HERE.
The Alpha Pack tailgating experience made its first appearance on an A-State football game day last season, but is back in 2024 for the entire season. All six events will take place near Centennial Bank Stadium at the A-State Pavilion, located on the southwest edge of Tailgate City and providing fans with close proximity to Red Wolf Walk.
Food and drinks are built into the pricing for the Alpha Pack tailgate, which will also feature live music, an exclusive Alpha Pack credential, a private tailgate space and a parking pass (1 pass for every 4 tickets purchased).
The bands performing at the first two Alpha Pack events have been announced, including The Band Bloodhound for the UCA contest on Aug. 31. Tim Hoggard and Bowlegged Rooster are both scheduled for A-State’s game against Tulsa on Sept. 7. The list of bands for the remaining four Alpha Packs will be announced at a later date.
Each ticket for anyone 21 years or older is priced at $50, while tickets for those under 21 costs $30 and children two and younger are admitted free with an adult. Tickets for Alpha Pack tailgates can be purchased by clicking HERE.
As in years past, free tailgating options also exist for fans. The only paid tailgating areas on the Arkansas State University campus are Tailgate City and Alpha Pack. Fans have the ability to set up their own tailgating area anywhere else on campus as long as it doesn’t restrict the flow of traffic in parking lots/areas. Fans can visit tour.astate.edu to view a campus map that shows potential free tailgating areas located either in a parking lot or next to various parking areas.
Arkansas State will kick off its 2024 season with a pair of home games, including its season opener at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, against in-state foe Central Arkansas. A-State football season tickets may be purchased by calling the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-972-2401, online by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/Tickets or via the A-State athletics App.
With the Athletics Department prioritizing mobile ticketing, an important feature of the A-State Athletics App is mobile-ticketing options making it possible for fans to buy, manage and transfer tickets from the A-State Ticket Office. All tickets, including premium areas, will be mobile in 2024. Printed tickets will be available in advance at the A-State Ticket Office in First National Bank Arena or on game days at Centennial Bank Stadium’s main ticket windows.
Season parking passes will be physical once again this year, but mobile parking passes will also be available for the first time. Mobile parking passes can be accessed in the same location as mobile tickets on the A-State App, and both can be added to Apple or Google wallet. Parking passes can be transferred in the same manner as tickets as well.
Among season ticket options, a Family 4-Pack promotion exists that includes four tickets in the upper east stands for just $149. The Athletics Department also recently announced it has created a football season tickets referral program, providing special benefits to anyone responsible for referring someone else who purchases new season tickets. Details, including benefits, about the referral program can be obtained by clicking HERE.
