LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Beef Council is set to kick off the inaugural Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest with an exciting tailgate event during the highly anticipated University of Arkansas Razorbacks vs. University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) football game. The tailgate, which promises to be a flavorful celebration of 100% beef burgers, will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
Football fans and burger enthusiasts alike are invited to join the festivities, which will feature mouth-watering burgers, the chance to meet local beef producers, and information on how to nominate your favorite burger for the title of Arkansas’s Best Burger. The contest is designed to promote and celebrate the delicious beef burgers served in restaurants across the state, while also supporting Arkansas’s rich agricultural heritage.
Nominations for the Arkansas’s Best Burger Contest will open on September 1, 2024, and continue through September 30, 2024. During this period, Arkansans are encouraged to submit their favorite local burger for a chance to be recognized as the best in the state. The top 10 finalists will be announced on October 11, 2024, with the overall winner set to be awarded by the end of October.
