The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, August 27 inside First Methodist Church and began with the return of Junior Rotarians since the 2024-25 school year recently began. The club members in attendance heard from Warren High School seniors Paige Byrd, Daniell Castillo, and Taylor Hasley to kick things off.

Rotarian Carlton Davis then presented the program of Donna Lawhon from the BCEDC. She had previously worked with the group before retiring but has agreed to work on a part-time basis. She gave a brief update about business prospects in Warren and is hopeful they will all come through, which could result in the need for more property to attract others. She also expressed an interest in joining the club after answering a few questions from the crowd. The Rotary Club of Warren now meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
