THORNTON, Ark. – Cayce’s Charities is set to make a positive impact on the Thornton and Fordyce communities with a generous food and school supply giveaway event on Saturday, August 24. The event will take place at Cayce’s Food Bank, located by Cayce’s House at 403 South Second Street.
The school supply giveaway, aimed at students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and run until 8:30 AM. The first 100 students will receive a $10 Wal-Mart gift card, courtesy of Cayce’s Charities. It’s important to note that this portion of the event is for students only, with no adults permitted during this time.
Following the school supply distribution, a food giveaway will commence at 8:30 AM and continue until 11:00 AM. Attendees can expect a wide variety of food items, including snacks, infant formula, ice cream, juice, soda, and much more. The event is open to all, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Cayce’s Charities, spearheaded by Daniel, Candice, and Joannie Cayce, is dedicated to supporting the local community through acts of generosity and service.
