WARREN, Ark. – The City of Warren’s new boom loader truck, first reported by the Saline River Chronicle last month, is now fully operational and serving the community. Residents may have already noticed the truck in action, significantly aiding the Sanitation Department in handling bulk debris and junk more efficiently.
This state-of-the-art truck represents a significant upgrade for the city’s waste management efforts. It is designed to handle various types of bulk debris, including tree limbs, household junk, and other large waste items that are typically cumbersome to manage. The truck’s capabilities are expected to streamline the process of keeping Warren clean and safe, reducing the burden on sanitation workers and improving overall efficiency.
Sanitation Department Manager Rob Johnson emphasized the importance of this new equipment in a statement last month, saying, “It’s a much-needed upgrade that will make our department more efficient and effective in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our city.” He further highlighted that the truck’s advanced technology allows for quicker and more thorough collection of bulk waste, which in turn enhances the overall appearance and hygiene of the city’s neighborhoods.
The implementation of the new boom loader truck comes at a crucial time as the city continues to see the demands on waste management services increase.
After the City received the truck last month, a dedicated Sanitation Department crew was trained on the operation of the vehicle.
