Curtis Lee Howard “Curt”, 1932-2024

Curtis Lee Howard “Curt”, age 91, of Hermitage, AR passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren, AR. He was born on December 31, 1932 in Warren, AR to the late Samuel Howard and Sarah Parnell Howard. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, a Mason, served in the United States Army and a machinist at Potlatch Corporation.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Hamaker Howard whom he married on July 15, 1955 and she passed away on August 25, 2008; sons, Jerry Douglas Howard and Randall Lee “Randy” Howard; brothers, James Howard and Sam Howard; grandchildren, Quade Allen Howard and Miranda Thomas and daughter-in-law, Becky Howard.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Howard of New Edinburg, AR; daughter, Lori Cooley of Green Hill, AR; grandchildren, Matthew Howard, Robyn Anders (Justin), Leah Edwards (Randy), Kassi Howard (Eddie) and Jordan Thomas and great-grandchildren, Alana Anders, William Anders, Ian Anders, Blaine Howard, Beckham Morales, Maverick Morales, Ember Burkhart and Eden Burkhart.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Bolin officiating. Burial will be in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Veterans Museum; 210 N Main St. Warren, AR 71671.
