Hermitage Basketball to Host Annual Free Throw-A-Thon Fundraiser

HERMITAGE, Ark. – The Hermitage Basketball Program is gearing up for its annual Free Throw-A-Thon Fundraiser, an event that promises to support the team while helping players sharpen their skills. This year, the fundraiser will allow Hermit basketball enthusiasts and community members to sponsor Hermitage players in grades 7-12 as they aim to sink 100 free throws each.

The event is straightforward: sponsors can pledge a specific amount for every free throw made out of 100 attempts, or they can opt to make a flat donation to support the team. The funds raised will be channeled into purchasing new equipment and gear needed for the upcoming basketball season.

Community members interested in contributing to the cause can speak directly with any Hermitage basketball player to sponsor them. Both cash and checks are accepted, with checks made payable to Hermitage School District.

The event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a chance for the Hermitage community to rally around their local athletes, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed for a successful season.
