I’m excited to announce that Saline River Chronicle is officially changing its name to Saline River News. This change is being made to simplify and shorten the web address, as well as better reflect our status as a new-media outlet.
In addition to the name change, we will be conducting some large-scale site maintenance around mid-September. This maintenance could take anywhere from a few days, to a week or two to complete. Please bear with us as we work to improve the site. We currently plan to begin site maintenance on Tuesday, September 17. The site may be down for a day or so at that time.
After the maintenance is complete, you should be able to begin using the salinerivernews.com web address.
For those who have bookmarked salineriverchronicle.com, you should be automatically redirected to the new site at salinerivernews.com once the mid-September updates are complete.
For now, continue using salineriverchronicle.com.
During the transition period, we will post updates on our Facebook page and our X (formerly Twitter) page.
We’ve got some more exciting additions and changes coming, and we look forward to sharing them with you soon.
We’ll continue to remind you about the name change prior to the transition date. Thank you for your continued support!
Rob Reep, Saline River Chronicle
