WARREN, Ark. – The Warren School District (WSD) has issued an important announcement regarding traffic and parking procedures for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. With the school year set to begin soon, the district is urging parents and community members to familiarize themselves with the existing traffic and parking protocols.
“WSD would like to ask parents and community members to review the map below for traffic and parking procedures for the 2024-25 school year,” the announcement stated. It was emphasized that there are no changes to the traffic patterns from last year, which should provide some relief to those familiar with the current system.
The announcement includes a specific request for those dropping off students exclusively at Warren Elementary School (WES). Drivers are asked to exit Ladyjack Drive by turning left onto Lumberjack Drive and then exiting onto Smith Road. The district highlighted the importance of adhering to posted signage and driving safely.
“We ask that you please be patient with us as the first few weeks of the school year are always an adjustment when it comes to traffic,” the statement continued. The district acknowledged the potential challenges that come with the start of the school year but expressed optimism, saying, “We are looking forward to an awesome school year!”
As the new school year approaches, WSD’s proactive communication aims to ensure a smooth transition and a safe environment for all students, staff, and community members.
