BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello Women’s Golf Team finished Sixth on Wednesday at the Central Regional Fall Preview at the Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri. The Blossoms combined for a two-round team score of 30-over par (606).

Augustana took home the title with a final team score of 16-over par (592), edging out the win over Missouri Southern State by one stroke. The Blossoms were the third-best finishing team of Great American Conference members competing in the tournament. UAM finished behind only Arkansas Tech, who took fifth, and the 2023-24 GAC Champion, Henderson State, who took third.
UAM closed out the second round of the tournament with a team score of 298, tying the program record for the lowest round in school history.
Senior Shehna Akbary finished in the top 10, tied for seventh, leading the blossoms at 3-over par (147). After firing a final round of 1-under par (71) for a two-round total of 147.
Incoming Freshman Tori Milton closed the tournament with a 75 in round two. She finished tied for 14th at 5-over par (149).
Sophomore Mekdes Rozas shot even-par (72) in her final round to end the tournament tied for 24th at 7-over par (151).
Sophomore Natalie Van Dort fired a final round of 8-over par (80), to bring her tournament total to 159 (+15), tying for 57th.
Sophomore Ximena Paz rounded out the Blossoms scoring with a final round of 80. She finished 81st at 20-over par (164).
Up next, the Blossoms head to Muskogee, Oklahoma for the Women’s Classic at Muskogee Country Club, hosted by Northeastern State University. The opening round of the tournament tees off on Monday, Sept. 9.
