STAR CITY, Ark. – The Star City School District will dedicate the Emily Snyder Tennis Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, at 3:45 p.m. The complex is named in memory of Emily Snyder, the Star City Tennis Coach, who sadly passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. This dedication honors her significant contributions to the school and the tennis program.
Following the dedication, the Star City tennis team will compete against Hamburg, with matches beginning immediately after the ceremony.
The evening will conclude with a Senior Night ceremony at approximately 6:45 p.m., recognizing the senior athletes on the tennis team.
Community members are invited to attend and pay their respects, while also supporting the Star City athletes.
