The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, Sept. 10 inside First Methodist Church for their first of two meetings this month. The group heard three entertaining speeches from the Junior Rotarians in attendance. Griselda Herrera spoke first with Taliyah Walton next and Gabriella Richardson rounding out the crew. There was no formal program, but Rotary President Dana Harvey spoke about the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. She talked about her memories of that day working for Dr. Bob Smalling, another Rotarian in attendance, and waiting to hear from his daughter who was working in Washington, D.C., at the time. She then opened the floor to allow for other Rotarians to talk about their memories of that day.
