HERMITAGE, Ark. – The Sam Clanton Memorial Foundation announced the details of its 4th annual Hog Hunt, set to take place from January 24 to 26, 2025. The hunt will kick off at 1 a.m. on Friday and will conclude on Sunday at 10 a.m.
The event will feature a $300 entry fee per team, with teams competing for a three-hog stringer prize. The winning team will take home four buckles. Additionally, two side pots—$50 each—will award trophies for the biggest teeth and the biggest hog, with each winning team receiving four trophies. Barr hogs are allowed in both the stringer competition and the biggest hog contest.
Weigh-ins will take place at the Clanton Farms tomato shed in Hermitage. Participants are asked to follow the signs to the weigh-in location at 520 E. 4th St. Hermitage. Registration for the event is open until January 19, 2025, and participants can contact Samantha Clanton at 870-820-6512 to register. A meal will also be available for purchase during the weigh-in.
