HERMITAGE, Ark. – The Hermitage School District recently received a generous donation of nine benches, thanks to the collaboration between Hermit Huddle and students from the Hermitage SEACBEC Welding and Construction programs. The benches, created by skilled students, are a testament to the craftsmanship and dedication of those involved.
The students who contributed to the project, Angel Ortega, Jason Esquivel, Tyler Hays, Jonathon Perez, and River Grice, showcased their abilities in precision, quality, and durability during the construction of the benches. Under the guidance of SEACBEC Director Devin McDermid, Welding Instructor Jamie Vail, and Construction Instructor Jeremy Groves, these students successfully completed the project, benefiting both their school and the local community.
The Hermit Huddle’s donation highlights the ongoing partnership between local organizations and educational programs that provide valuable hands-on experiences for students.
The Hermitage School District expressed its appreciation to both the Hermit Huddle and the SEACBEC students for their hard work and contribution.
