Trunk-or-Treat set for Oct. 29 on Main Street in Rison

RISON, Ark. – 10-29-24 – Families, local businesses, churches, and community groups in Rison are gearing up for an exciting Halloween event! This year’s Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Tuesday, October 29, at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Rison. The event promises to bring Halloween cheer to all ages, with candy, costumes, and plenty of fun for everyone.

How to Participate Organized by the Rison Shine organization, Trunk-or-Treat invites community organizations, businesses, churches, and even families to decorate their vehicles and set up on Main Street by 5:15 p.m. to hand out candy. Those who can’t attend but want to contribute to the festivities can donate candy or money to purchase candy at the Cleveland County Herald office. All donations are tax deductible.

Other Festivities Along with Trunk-or-Treat, there will be additional Halloween-themed events happening in Rison at the same time. Be sure to check out The Green House Cottages of Southern Hills’ October Fest, and the Rison FFA’s Boo at the Barnyard event for more fun! Whether you begin your Halloween celebrations with the Rison Shine organization downtown, at the Cottages, or at the school with FFA, there’s plenty to enjoy for everyone in town.
