The Rotary Club of Warren met on Tuesday, Oct. 22 inside the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County due to remodeling at the Methodist Church. Rotarian Bob Smalling presented the program of Warren Mayor Gregg Reep. Mayor Reep updated the group of Rotarians on a number of issues concerning the city. He focused on the need of the city to follow its economic development plans and take action so that Warren can grow economically and continue to do so in the future. Reep informed the gathering that BluSky Carbon is installing equipment and hopes to start construction in a couple of weeks. He ended by touching on the need for changes in how the city handles solid waste. The next meeting for the Rotary Club of Warren is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12.
