Nelda Ann Pittman Armstrong, 86, of Warren, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
She was born in Warren, Arkansas on September 30, 1938 to the late J.T. and Odie Mae Thompson. She is preceded in death by her spouses, Robert G. Pittman and Joe V. Armstrong, her daughters, Lynn A. Crocker and Nena S. Myers.
Survivors include her children, Kelly P. Thompson, Roxanne (Steven) Adkins, Terri Taylor, Rick (Christine) Armstrong, Toni Armstrong, Kelly Joe (Jodie) Armstrong, 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, brother, Richard (Pam) Thompson and sister, Gail Discher.
Nelda was a graduate at Warren High School. She would later go on to get her nursing degree in 1976. She had a long and caring nursing career until her retirement in 2008. She loved to fish, hunt and work in her garden. Nelda loved her fur babies. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
