MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team hosted Oklahoma Baptist University on Saturday afternoon for Military Appreciation Day, sponsored by South Arkansas Rehabilitation. The contest concluded with a 24-20 win for UAM.

Sophomore quarterback Buddy Taylor gave UAM a 6-11 performance with 121 passing yards on the night. Taylor was also the leading rusher for the Boll Weevils, running the ball for 107 net yards. Anthony Dansby was the leading receiver in the game, grabbing one reception for 63 total yards.
Defensively, Ervin Jones stood above the rest, grabbing ten total tackles, with four solo stops on the afternoon.
Dylan Duhon led the day on special teams, kicking a 43-yard field goal and going 3-3 on PATs.

First Quarter
- 00:06 – OBU | A goalline rush gave Oklahoma Baptist the early lead in the ballgame.
Second Quarter
- 05:29 – OBU | The Bison saw a 39-yard field goal made to extend the lead to 10-0.
Third Quarter
- 13:18 – UAM | Dylan Duhon kicked a 43-yard field goal to put the Weevils on the board.
- 11:55 – OBU | A 55-yard reception by Michael Marshall pushed the OBU lead to 17-3.
- 06:58 – UAM | AJ Bullock rushed a yard into the endzone for a goal line touchdown.
Fourth Quarter
- 13:34 – OBU | OBU pushed their lead to 20-10 on a 35-yard field goal.
- 09:33 – UAM | A short rushing touchdown by Buddy Taylor made it a 20-17 game.
- 00:32 – UAM | Buddy Taylor rushed 27 yards for the final touchdown of the game to gain the lead, resulting in a 24-20 win for UAM.
