Warren’s Josiah Steen Receives First Athletic Scholarship Offer from the University of Arkansas

WARREN, Ark. – Warren Lumberjack sophomore standout Josiah Steen announced Monday that he has received his first college football scholarship offer, from the University of Arkansas, marking a major milestone in his promising athletic career.

“First off, I want to say all praises to God. Today, after a great conversation with @CoachBPetrino(Bobby Petrino), I am truly blessed to receive my first offer from the University of Arkansas,†Steen shared in a statement via Twitter.

Steen played a key role in the Lumberjacks’ successful 2024 season, helping secure another 8-4A Conference Championship and contributing to the team’s playoff run, which ended in the Quarterfinals of the 4A State Playoffs.

The scholarship offer from the Razorbacks highlights Steen’s potential as one of Arkansas’s rising football talents. Currently a sophomore at Warren High School, this marks the first offer in what could be a series of opportunities as he continues to develop his skills on the field.

Steen’s achievement adds to the rich tradition of Warren High School players advancing to compete at the collegiate level, further cementing the Lumberjacks’ reputation as a powerhouse in Arkansas high school football.
