Warren’s Main Street RR Crossing Reopens After Repairs, West Pine Closure Announced

WARREN, Ark. – Main Street in Warren has reopened after crews completed repairs and improvements to the railroad crossing on Wednesday. The project, carried out by the railroad, saw workers making upgrades to enhance the safety and functionality of the busy crossing.

City of Warren Street Foreman Monty Hearnsberger informed Saline River News Wednesday evening that the repairs were complete, allowing Main Street to reopen for traffic.

However, Hearnsberger also announced that a new closure will affect West Pine Street from North Ethridge to Davenport starting Thursday morning. This section will be closed to facilitate additional railroad crossing repairs.

Saline River News will continue to provide updates on the progress of these repairs as information becomes available. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and use caution near work zones.
