MONTICELLO, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello softball team has released its 52-game schedule for the 2025 season year. The year will begin with tournament play, followed by the always-challenging Great American Conference schedule.
Arkansas-Monticello will begin the 2025 season in Branson, Missouri, at the Branson Lead-Off Classic. The Blossoms are scheduled for four games between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, with games against Missouri Southern State, Upper Iowa, Truman State, and Newman.
Tournament play will continue the next weekend in the annual Alvy Early Memorial Classic at Bentonville, a staple from UAM that has been continued since 2019. UAM is scheduled to play six games from Feb. 7-9, with three doubleheaders throughout the tournament. The team will play William Jewell College and Missouri-St. Louis on Friday, Truman State and Emporia State on Saturday, followed by Washburn and Northeastern State on Sunday.
The Blossoms will travel to Delta State on Tuesday, Feb. 18, for a doubleheader before returning to Alvy Early Softball Field at Ryburn Park for their home opener and GAC opener series against Oklahoma Baptist. The series will hold the first-ever night game on campus, with the Friday doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
UAM will host Mississippi College for a doubleheader on Feb. 25 before facing the Reddies from Henderson State at home. The series will begin on Feb. 28 at 5:00 p.m.
Monticello will compete in three straight conference series beginning on Friday, Mar. 7. The Blossoms travel to Russellville, Arkansas, for the weekend, then return home to host a GAC doubleheader with Southern Arkansas on Mar. 11. Southwestern Oklahoma State comes to Monticello the weekend of Mar. 14-15, for UAM’s fifth conference series of the season.
Arkansas-Monticello will host Delta State on Mar. 18 for a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The team will go on to play five straight GAC series against Northwestern Oklahoma State (Mar. 21-22 away), Harding (Mar. 28-29 at home), Ouachita Baptist (Apr. 4-5 away), Southern Arkansas (Apr. 8 away), and Southeastern Oklahoma State (Apr. 11-12 away).
UAM’s final regular season opponents will be Mississippi College for an away doubleheader on Apr. 15, East Central from Apr. 17-18 for the final home series of the season, and Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma from Apr. 25-26.
