Carolyn Jean Blount age 81, of Hermitage, AR died Monday, January 20th, 2025 at the Chapel Woods Nursing Center. She was born December 14th 1943 in Hampton, AR a daughter of the late Ervin Rowland. Carolyn was a housewife and homemaker; she attended Dumas Public Schools and was a Baptist.
Also preceding her in death were bothers, Bobby Rowland, Jr Rowland and a sister, Lillie Mae Rowland.
Surviving is her husband, Little Blount Sr, whom she married June 26th, 1981 in Star City, AR; sons, Randy “Blondy” McDaniel and Terry “Skeeter” McDaniel both of Monticello, AR; step-sons, Little Ferd Blount, Jr. of Star City, AR and Robert Lee Blount of Hermitage, AR; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were 3:00PM Friday, January 24, 2025 at Green MT Cemetery. Burial was in Green MT Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
