Herman Lester Kitchel, age 80 of Warren, AR died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at The Woods of Monticello Health and Rehabilitation in Monticello, AR. He was born on May 23, 1944 in Bradley County, AR to the late Elza Kitchel and Mary Ellen Carr Kitchel. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Davis Kitchel; son, Bobby Kitchel and sister, Shirley Jane Veigl.
Survivors include his son, Allen Kitchel (Rebecca Snow) of Waco, TX; daughters, Jeannelle Nichols (David) Rye, AR, Stephanie Parnell (Wayne) of Warren, AR and Dorothy Ball of Strong, AR; brother, J.C. Kitchel (Dorothy) East End, AR; grandchildren, Leslie Young (Blake), Derrick Nichols (Skylar), Dusty Jester (Jessica), Kristen Kitchel, Patricia Ball Fife, Matthew Johnson, Katie Kitchel, Shannen Kitchel and Cody Kitchel and great-grandchildren, Isaac Young, Corban Young, Dalton Jester, Jaylee Jester, Brinnlee Nichols, Natalie Hayes, Hope Hayes, Ashlynn Fife, Mattison Fife and Jocelyn Kitchel.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Parker-Prospect Cemetery with Bro. Richard Barley officiating. Burial will be in Parker-Prospect Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Derrick Nichols, Dusty Jester, Blake Young, Ronnie Kitchel and Milton Corker. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
